Puff of smoke on startup 200

1988 model 240 with 309,000 km on clock. I have changed from Mobil 1 5W50 to SHell Helix Ultra 5W40 recently. Now I get a large blue cloud on first start in the morning, before it was a small grey one. The Shell oil is obviously thinner and seeps down to the compression chamber more readily. This is presumably good for piston-ring lubrication on startup, less so for the environment. But is it an issue that it seeps down in the first place? What do you think?
