No start 140-160 1975

Hi guys - dummy here. I added a thermostat (hole was empty!) this afternoon. In my curious fashion, I spilled a lot of antifreeze on my floor, about 1 quart. Hopefully put the thermostat in correctly, refilled the radiator and went to start up the car. It has never failed before.
All I get is a fuel pump noise. No starter! Did I get the wires wet? A lot of fluid gushed up from the housing after I had removed the cover over the thermostat. Battery is good/new. I didn't touch anything else! Promise.

Thanks,
Klaus
