Reattaching air dam to bumper trim on the side? 200 1989

Hi,
Not sure I used the correct terms in the subject line. By the air dam, I mean the plastic part that mounts under the bumper. I've got a pair of 240's and both of them have a broken connection between the air dam and the rubber bumper trim on the side. It appears that the air dam has a plastic piece that extends up into the bumper trim and them a screw goes in from the rear of the car to join them together. The plastic piece that goes up is what has broken. Does anyone have a good fix for this? It's not a big deal but having this flapping loose doesn't seem like a good idea for the long term.
Thanks!
Lyle
