Idle control motor interchangeability? What happend to chokes? 200

I went to the junkyard today in hopes of finding a turbo car, like I always do, and was dissapointed as usual. I ended up pulling a 0280140520 when it appears me 82 242t requires a 0280140500. I saw the post before me, but before I do the previous poster a big favor, what is going to happen it I put the 520 in my car? Also, am I doing the right thing? Usually I'm idling at around 1500, but when I disconnect the idle speed wiring harness at the fire wall I go up to 2000. Maybe a ground between there and the motor? Right now I have a clamp around the hose going from the motor to the throttle, and once the thing warms up it's great. Is there a place to get a canadian-spec choke to retrofit the car and be done with this whole thing? Thanks for reading and your thoughts.
