AW70L to AW71 Transmission conversion

A friend of mine has a great '90 740 with AW70L that won't shift past 2nd gear and I just so happen to have an AW71 from an '88 760 Turbo that I was going to offer to swap out for her to keep her wagon on the road. I've read in some previous posts that the two are interchangeable (which I expected) and I gathered that there will be a slight economy loss between the two (since no lockup on highway) but is there any other reason why I shouldn't install my AW71 in her wagon?
