Buying a 745 turbo with a blown radiator? 700 1991

Hello all- Possibly picking up a '91 for a stupid good price. It has roughly 140k and is very straight. The owner knows the rad went and thinks the head gasket is failing and would just like to be done with it. I havn't had the time to poke under the hood and do a compression test to verify the gasket, but a dead radiator should be obvious enough to the average owner. Being as it will be my first 7 series, what kind of things am I looking for that would be a serious red flag and warrant me passing up the deal and sticking to my 240 collection? Checked out the faq, but I'm looking for a little deeper scoop here.

Thanks everybody!
Rob
