T-belt 900 1994

I've got a '94 940 wagon w/ i think the B230FD engine, w/ ~162k. Is it true that i don't have to replace the T-belt every 50k or 60k miles? but can be replaced at the 100k mile mark. I replaced it twice already, and was about to replace it when i read that the replacement interval is 100k mile. I used contitech belts for the T-belt replacement. Since i've always thought that T-belts must be replaced on bimmers, VW's, etc., at the 60k miles mark I got a little worried. So should i change now? or wait a another 40k miles?

Another question, does NE 1 know if the Snap-on valve bucket compressor will work to compress the bucket while using a long needle nose pliers to pull out the shims? i believe the tool # is YA8825-1.

Many Thanks

Jon L
