So yeah, Paul you mentioned lubricating the centrifugal advance? How might I go about that? Haynes says something about lubricating a wick on the top of the shaft or something when you take the rotor off...?
And so yeah, I'm in the process of hammering out my old idler arm bushing. Now I'm stuck with it partially out... =D What now? and how will I get the new one in without damaging it? I think I'm going to stay up here in portland tonight and then tomorrow take the arm in to a shop and have them push the old bushing out and the new one in. Ideas?
Oh, and about that nipple that's supposed to be in the manifold fitting, I don't think there is one there because it's a b18 manifold, which didn't come with a nipple in there stock. The b20s did though. Maybe I can take the nipple off of my integrated b20 manifold and put it on there or something. Also, I need to take off the top part of the exhaust manifold, I'm going to swap the other one I had on beforehand, it might be a little bit smaller, but it isn't cracked. There is evidence of the exhaust hitting the ports though on the manifold, so I'm going to enlarge them a little bit before I put it on. Also, using cut washers, can I REALLY get it to seal well?
