240 Transmission 200 1984

Hello All I am new here and I would like to ask a important question. I have a 1984 Volvo 244 DL and just yesterday, my car wouldn't go into reverse. What i mean by this is when i shift into reverse, it doesnt back up. Also when I put it into neutral the car goes forward like it was in drive. Drive and park and all the other gears except for N and R are messed up. Does anyone think that something messed up the selectors or if the bushings are bad? Thanks
