760 Turbo plug wires 700

There is enough dirt on the coil and boot to allow the current to short circuit.

Eventually a burnt track will cause a permanent problem.

I suggest that you clean the coil, the wire and boot. I have used WD 40 and a clean rag, or removed the parts and washed them in soap and water, Don't submerge the coil, and make sure everything is dry before you use it.

In the past, I have washed all plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. Look under the water shield on the distributor cap, it is probably filthy. A lot of people throw this shield away. Someone on this board puts these parts in the dishwasher! I'll bet his wife loves that.
