760 turn signal failure 700 1988

i have happily inherited a 1988 760 turbo that has been in my family since it rolled out of the showroom. i am in the process of repairing all the little problems. currently, the turn signals and emergency flashers do not work. i have purchased a flasher relay but i cannot find its location to replace the old one. i have removed the passenger side console panel to reveal the relay panel but the turn signal flasher relay is not there. can anyone tell me where it is located. help is very much appreciated.
