Baffled by AC compressor belt removal 200 1984

I am totally baffled!

I spent a solid couple of hours yesterday crawling under, over, all around the engine compartment of my 84 245 turbo trying to figure out how to loosen the AC compressor to allow belt removal.

Before starting the project I'd read previous posts related to this issue. I thought the trick was going to be to find and loosen two 13mm heads, one obvious, the other "hinding under the PS pump."

I don't see anything. I don't even see how the compressor could possibly move. Had a neighbor who works a lot on his older VWs take a look and he was totally baffled too. Bentley is of no help on the subject either.

Can someone out there explain in detail how to do this?

Many, many thanks in advance!

Corey
