Well I'm not messing around. Someone replied to my post that the coil COULD be cracked. I haven't been able to confirm this yet as I'm out of town for the week and I'm driving my 960. A new coil is rather expensive ( I think FCP wants around $80 for one). You're probably right though, I do need a coil. What about a used one? FCP's site says that the coil on my car is specific to the 1984 year model. Is this true? It looks just like the one on my 240. I know that I need ignition wires for sure. Mine are the original ones.
