stock tool kit 700 1991

I recieved a couple responses on my recent post re: original 745 kit... two screwdrivers (flat and philips, 2 open end spanners, and tire changing socket/ handle. My 240 has 10 x 11 mm and 12 x 13 spanners. I feel more comfortable with an adjustable wrench, pliars and a stubby flat screwdriver too. Also some gloves, flashlight, duct tape, and baling wire. I have never needed any of this?
Joyc's 240 has a chepo $30 'road emergency' kit she bought w/jumper cables, siphon hose and folding gas can, signal flares, canned tire inflater, radiator hose tape and clamps, red plastic lens repair tape, adjustable emergency fanbelt. Never used any of this junk. I think you only need good preventive maintenance and an AAA card.
