Febi is the OEM clutch cable, isn't it? More inside. 200

Youn should get the Volvo one, like I did. I got the Sachs from IPD and of course it doesn't work on the M47 clutch as you found out. I spoke to IPD and SwedishEngineering, and they are in agreement that Sachs (or aftermarket) won't fit the M47 set-up. Gemo is thought to be a replacemenmt, but the Volvo one is longer for the M47 and none are universal, like the Gemo or Sachs, which seem to be made for the early M45/46 clutches. You'll also find that the aftermarket cables bind and do not slip inside the cable sheath like the Volvo, and the clutch return hangs up.
Save your grief, since I've already experienced it for you, and spend the $90 for the Volvo one. It really is worth it.
