towing..flatbed or standard hook truck? 92 740 wagon

I'm picking up a '91 740 wagon, as a parts car tomorrow. I have a choice of using a flatbed tow truck, or saving a few bucks and going the standard tow truck route. This is a parts car, and I'm mostly salvaging engine parts, and body panels.

Am I crazy towing with the standard truck?, I've seen previous posts go both ways, but those mostly dealt with working cars concerned with drive train damage.

thanks, Michael

I may have a bunch of 740 parts available, super cheap, if anyone is interested....email Michael@indrestudios.com
