Wiper arm attachment 1800

I am still messing around with trying to get my drivers side wiper arm attached. Figured I would see if the board had any more ideas. The thing just came off in my hand the other day. It looks like I'm missing a piece, but I'm not sure what. The arm will fit where is supposed to, but it does not click and stay there. Feels loose on the drive. The manuals that I've poked around in all say "remove wiper arm" and don't really give a description of how to do that. Following are some images that might help with the diagnosis:

Drive, angle 1
Drive, angle 2
Wiper arm socket

I found the following option that might get me the part I need: Item 7

Any ideas? Thanks!
