Passenger Door Won't Unlock 200 1987

Suspect the lock link-rod inside the door is bent or disconnected.

Ensure that the window is up. You'll need to remove the inside door panel (check archives for method). After you do so, you'll see an opening toward the rear, with a link-shaft running vertically, probably inside a hard plastic 'jacket'. If you remove the plastic (held by clips), I bet you find a bent or disconnected lock-link rod..piece of metal a bit thicker than a coathanger. The fix will be self-explanatory...straighten/clean/lube and TEST before reassembling everything.

'Could also be the interior lever and shaft, but it will be apparent - pretty simple, actually.

Best of Luck,
-Dennis
