Independant mechanics in Florida's Treasure Coast?

Sorry to be off topic here, but I've got a son in Stuart, Florida, with a 95 Subaru Outback which desparately needs a competent mechanic. The nearest Soob dealer is in Palm Beach County, so he's been using the local franchise mechanics who, unfortunately, are marginally competent at best. Do any of you good folks live in this area (Martin County, St. Lucie County) and happen to know a good independant mechanic who could/would work on Subarus?
