1987 240 brake line fitting size

Hello all. Today I changed my front brake pads and discovered the passenger side caliper had a frozen piston. So tomorrow I get to replace my first caliper. Before I put the tire back on, I tried to size the brake line fitting with a flare nut and it seems to be 11mm. Is this correct? I tried 10 and 12 and geez it seems to fall somewhere in the middle. Thanks for your assistance here.
