Question Regarding Temporary Tire/Wheel 200

I had a great idea to put the tires from my wagon onto my sedan and buy a new set of tires for the wagon. Got a set of Yokohama's. Really nice ride.

I decided to buy a set of 5 tires, so I could replace the spare with a good tire, not a temporary. I do not have aftermarket or OEM Aluminum wheels. Are the steel wheels used on the Temporary Tires the same as the ones used on the Regular (everyday-driving) tires? The guys at the shop said the metal on the Temporary Wheel was ALOT thinner. They then proceded to tell me about what a good deal they could get me on an aftermarket wheel. Was not interested. Would rather find a P-N-P and get one myself.

Any help would be and always is greatly appreciated.

Todd :-)
