122 Ignition Switch 120-130

Do you have a friendly Volvo mechanic nearby, who might have a few extra 122 ignition keys you can borrow? When I lost my keys to my 122 wagon, I tried out the ignition key for my other 122 sedan, and it fit/ worked perfectly. Feel a bit uneasy knowing that a key from one car works on the other car, maybe that's what your ratbastard thief was doing to get a hold of all those cars...

One other thought: you might want to consider installing a push button ignition switch. You can get them reasonably priced at an auto parts store, and install in tiny hole at extreme lower left side under the dash. Wiring isn't too complicated (was pretty simple on both my Amazons).

Your ignition key will last so much longer, turn clockwise one click, press the button, and off you go.
