Replace choke cable 200

It's a little unclear whether you are changing only the cable or the cable and sheath. I changed the cable on my 740 this winter without changing the sheath, no problems this far.

If you're only changing the cable it's quite simple. Just disconnect the cable at the carb, pull the broken cable-piece out on the engine side, then pull the knob and rest of the cable out from inside the car. Then just put the new cable back from inside the car. Adjust the cable by pushing the button completely in and opening the choke completely, then fasten the cable. Or you could do it by the book: choke cable should be 25mm out when the fast-idle adjustment-screw rests on the mark at the fast-idling cam. I assume you have a pierburg 175 carb.
