stalling out 700

When I first picked up my 740T, it had a tendency to stall out when it was first started unless you kept your foot on the gas. I always gave it four minutes to warm up, and then it drove fine.

I was having occasional issues where I would not get enough fuel through the lines (hesitation under boost, sometimes leaving me powerless until I put the clutch in for a bit) until I finally had the time to replace the ancient fuel filter. Boom, the hesitation issue disappeared.

But now it's stalled out at lights maybe four times today, just sitting there idling. The engine just drops from 750rpm to 0. Initially, it'll crank over but not start. About twenty seconds after dying, the engine will start again fine.

Once, it died, in about the same sudden fashion, on the freeway, as I was doing maybe 60 in 4th and engaging the boost pretty good. It still started right up in ten seconds, but it was nerve-racking.

I'm going to see a friend of mine who's a good mechanic this weekend; what should I suggest he check out?
