I've been working on a similar problem and found the # 30 connection at the fuel pump relay loose and backed out of its plastic holder on the relay board.
This is a great source for facts and info. Ref. broken solder joints in the fuel pump relay and radio supression relay. heat being the adversary of all
relays I've taken to removing the cover of individual problem relays prior to failure and drilling vent holes to allow them to cool better while in service.
A simple fix that works for me !
