Cruse Control 200 1989

You need the type that is on your 86, but I am pretty sure you could install the 90 to 93 cruise on an 89. I am in the process of putting 91 cruise on my 89. I have not finished it yet so I can't tell you for sure if it works. Both later types use the same speed signal as far as I can tell. They both tap into the speed signal to the LH control unit. On the 86 to 89 version it plugs into the instrument panel. On the 90 and later it splices into the wire from the instrument panel to the LH unit.

You have to change gas pedals to use the 90 to 93 on an 89. Not a big job if you have the pedal.
