Very well put Poolman. You could also think of it as riding on a carousel horse with for guys you don't particularly like standing around the outside of the carousel. As you pass each one, you slap them in the face with your arm extended.

Yea, your delivering the smack like the distributor delivers the voltage to each spark plug to ignite the gas in each engine cylinder to run the engine.
