There's a not-so-small difference between the '88 and the '91; '88 has Lh2.2 with EZ-117K ignition (hall sensor in the distributor), and '91 has LH2.4 with EZ-116K (RPM sensor on the bell housing). Notice that there's no adjustment on the AMM, and no idle speed adjustment.
The turbos always used the rear mounted distributor; AFAIK, Rex-Regina used the block mounted distributor in the later non-turbos.
