Can't get my FPR off 200 1986

Hold on, I have to swear again..."$#@$%^ %&^$ *&#@$^#"

OK I am back. I am trying to replace my FPR, but I can't free up the fuel line fittings. I am afraid that if I give it my "all", I will strip or snap something off. Since I can't use a little heat (unless I want to spend a few months in the burn unit), does anyone have any suggestions or tips to free up the fittings?

Also, does the FPR diaphram fail because of milage or age or both? I only have about 55,000 miles, but it is 19 years old....

Peace
