New aftermarket shocks for an old Brick - your opinions please... 700

Greetings,

I am ready to replace my OEM shocks and struts with either Tokiko HP, Bilstein touring, or KYB. I am interested in the opioion of other owners as to the relative quality and performance characteristics of these or other brands.

The Tokikos have been described as somewhere between the Bilstein monotube high performance and the twin tube touring which sound like it would be very appropriate for the 740 8 valve non turbo. If I go with this upgrade will I also need the anti sway bars?

I had a 1980 240 series with Boge ProGas shocks and IPD anti sway bars and it handled extremely well even with original wheels and high profile tires. When it got colder they became progressively stiffer. I won't have that problem in Hawaii.

Thanks for you experience and guidance,

Ha Y E
