Help NO START. I only have one day until street cleaning. Fuel related issue.? 200

Hello,
1984 244gl. B23 2.3 L petrol .
Recently I started having low idle problems aroung 800-900. A week or so after this low rpm I started to notice a buzzing sound coming from the main fuel pump (located driver side, rear wheel) I thought maybe I would inspect the pre in tank pump but tonight when i went to start her up to determine anything she wouldt start.I put a 12 volt source to the main fuel pump and it works. the car had 1/4 tank and I added 2. 5 gallons. Still no luck.

So to round it up.

Started with lowered idle 8-900 ,also once in a while , it was rough starting and the idle would fluctuate , and occasionly die , but always started up again.
I had no problems at free way speeds accelerating to 70 mph.

The car has apprx 5 gallons maybe more.
Main pump works when powered. Last time car ran the pump made a buzzing sound.

I would appreciate any help in determining the problem I want ot try to fix . I guess i need help starting with the relays down to the pumps it determining the problem. But any advice pertaining to diagnosing NO START% CONDITIONS would be helpful. Thanks . I have to move the car at @ 10am Please help.Car hass 99,000 orig miles. I am the second owner thanks
