Thanks for the advice - new question... 700

Hi folks - thanks for the advice on my wife's car's brake issues. Turns out the Power Brake Booster was broken (something loose inside). Went to a junk yard, pulled one from a 740 Turbo and all is now good.

So my wife is now driving her car again and is very concerned about the noise coming from the underside of her car. I once described it as a higher-pitched metallic sound. I think it is most likely a dead resonator.

Can anyone describe a bad resonator condition? What sort of sounds would it make and does it call for quick fix or can she drive with ti this way?

Thanks.
