wet spark plug 1800 1972

Just got my car out from a long winters nap and:

the third cylinder ain't firing. It is getting good spark to the cylinder ( I checked a few times different ways)

when I took out the plug, I noticed it was kind of wet.

any ideas?? I believe this happened before and worked itself out, but I am not sure. I am getting a bad feeling I might need to pull the engine.

Last I checked the compression was ok, any ideas/ thoughts would be most appreciated.

be well and thanks
