Anyone replaced alternator bushings? 900 1993

Even though my alternator's putting out the requisite 14.4 volts at idle, its fairly new belt seems to be flexing like a rubber band. Since all 3 bushings are original at 178k and are looking pretty "smooshed", I'm pretty certain they're allowing the alternator to shift, causing the above effect.

The job looks pretty straightforward (except for perhaps the lower one). My question - can the bushings be replaced without having to mess with the belt tension? Has anyone had any experience doing this? I'm assuming that poly bushings are the way to go here.

Thanks for any advice,

-B
