142 starter 140-160

We're instaling the starter on son's '71 142 (or trying to). What is the secret in putting in the top bolt? I've done this few times, but it has been a while. We're making an engine swap, so the bolt was originally removed with the original engine. We didn't put the bolt in the bell housing first, so have to install it with the engine, etc., in place. I know it's simple, but apparently I'm simpler.

Help would certainly be appreciated.

Jim Hampton
