Injection Fuel Pump 140-160

Ben, I've only got a few answers...

-is de D-jet pump the same as K-jet?

No.

-can one use the electic fuel pump on carbs, instead of the mechanical (cam driven? (perhaps in combination with an adjustable fuel regulator?))

Not a fuel injection pump. There are electric pumps for use with carbs, but they typically only put out 1/6 - 1/12 the pressure of an injection pump, and even then they usually are used with a regulator. I don't know of any regulators that can take the very high injection pressure down low enough for carb use.

It's easy enough to just use the OE-type mechanical pump until you inject the car, no?
