Hello All,
I had a quick question regarding B21 & B23 cams. Are the cams from these engines interchangable or are they different enough that a B21 cam can not be used on a B23 engine? I have purchased a B21 A cam (the price was so right) for my neighbor (81 245 w/B21F) but he changed his mind and is now going for the IPD Cam & Gear setup (is possible). He ended up giving me the B21 "A" Cam for free and I want to but it in my 84 245 w/B23F ("M" Cam) to see what kind of changes it will do to the power band. P.S. If anyone is interested in a 1979 242GT (135K miles) that I looked at while on vacation let me know and I will give you the information on it. I have no connection with the seller, in fact I drove 1500 miles (one way) to see the car but since the seller lied to me and told me there was NO RUST (there was rust behind the doors in the rockers - coming from the inside out) I was frustrated and walked away. The car is still very usable and has all the GT goodies. I was not looking for a rust car that needed body work so I passed it up. I'm sure someone else can get some use out of the car (spare parts at the very least) instead of the car sitting out side and rusting it's life away. Thanks for your time!
