Wow - the timing on this could not be better.
I just observed the same problem where if the car was accellerating (more than 1/3 on the as pedal).
I added NOS octane boster (7 point boost) and the knocking went away.
I also appreciate the line to www.bobistheoilguy.com - I was just at the store wondering whether Lucas Oil additive would be an idea with my next oil change.
I'm also interested in the suggestion to use Mobil 1 - I was using it my 740 (RIP...saved my life) and my 940 would likely benefit from it too.
