Sounds as if the alternator is not charging the battery, when battery voltage gets down real low then car will start to run bad then stop. Solve that problem first then see if the stalling rough running etc gets cured. Start by checking voltage at battery when running, it should be will over 12V and up over 14 or so after the battery is charged.
