Compression Test 200 1993

Just did a compression test on my B230F today. Last one was done 6 years ago using the same tool. Here are the results:

5/8/99, 45696- Compression test (cold): Cyl 1- 180psi; 2- 184; 3- 183; 4- 180
3/19/05,107804- Compression test (cold): Cyl 1- 170psi; 2- 173; 3- 170; 4- 170

I think these results are fine. Just curious what others see on a cold engine and whether a drop of 10psi in 62K is reasonable. One change was going to the VX-Cam, but don't think this should affect compression. I ran the engine from about 20 seconds with the plugs loose per the the Bentley manual.

A this rate the engine might need to be rebuilt in another 250K which would be 17 years from now :-O
