engine wiring harness/side suspension wiring harness qustions.... 700 1986

I bought another volvo this past week and plan on using it for family outings. the wiring for the engine wiring harness has sure seen it's better days, and plan on replacing it here real soon. my problem really lies in both the wiring harnesses that go on the driver and passenger sides of the engine.where the grey plug goes, the wires insulation are all broken up and bare wires are noticed. is there any way to replace these wires as i haven't noticed anyplace i can purchase them from?? any help or resources are greatly appreciated. I'm also having wiring inside the volvo as well, but lookin to fix those and trace them to their sources.i believe the wiring harnesses that i have question of are the left and right suspension tower harnesses or also know as the fender well harnesses. all help is greatly appreciated.
