What color is this?? 444-544 1959

I've aquired 2 pv's. One is a parts car that I have stripped to the shell and will be off to the crusher in a couple of days. The other is a keeper. Both are 1959 B16B's. Both are code 46-red- however, my keeper has no trace of red paint anywhere. the junker has been painted once and I can find 46 year old virgin red paint everywhere...trunk, dash, firewall, seat supports etc. the keeper is an off white everywhere....could some unscrupulous somebody in it's past swapped vin plates with a code 46 car? How can I tell??
