Eeek, have I hurt my intake, or injectors? 200 1984

OK, its been cold up here in Maine, and I wimped out and took my 240 to Jiffy Lube to change the oil (don't worry, I always get synthetic and give them additives) but while they were under there, they must have cracked my already old and brittle preheat (I think?) pipe that runs on the left side from the air filter to the intake manifold assembly. I found it on a routine check under the hood yesterday. It was broken half off, and the exposed apeture was pointing to the front of the car and thus exposed to all the sand and salt and road grit of Maine in March for the past 4 days. I obviously replaced the broken pipe. Car seems to be running fine, but A: have I don't irrevocable harm, B: is there anything I should do or look for. I don't know if there is a screen prior to the air mixture heading into the manifold after that junction?

Thanks,
Hannah C
