hatch window removal on a 245....tips? 200 1986

hello, as you all probablly (too) well know that i picked up another '86 wagon a couple months ago which had almost no rust at all amazingly enough for Indiana, except for the hatch which was trashed beyond belief....sooo this week i went out to a friends house who happens to have a few parts cars... i bought a fairly decent hatch for $50 but i need to do a little bit of rust repair around the window and then paint it to match....i really need to remove the window to do this but i dont want to break it or screw up the seal...any hints or tips on how to do this? Thanks!!
