Engine Flush? 700

How many miles on the old oil? If you're really concerned just make the next change at a shorter interval, say at 1500-2000 miles.

In 30yrs of being a diesel mechanic, I can't recall any professional owner operator or fleets ever requesting an "engine flush"!

As a kid I took the advice of a "pump jockey" and flushed an engine with kerosene for a couple minutes. Refilled with oil and spun a rod bearing within 5 miles.
