Engine Flush? 700 2003

hi there,

I believe the lube guy at the station was tryin to upsale you cause there are a lot of people out there who don't know as much about cars as a lot of us do here on brickboard, thus i believe he was tryin to take advantage of you. I suggest you don't do the engine flush, I've actually have heard of other people's cars engines ruined with that stuff. what i would do is have the engine oil replaced with the filter and use castol oil for 1500 miles, change the filter and then use the mobile 1 full synthetic oil. go withwhat grade your car is recommended. I use mobile 1 in my volvo and it's made a difference in gas milage, engine being quieter, and will seem to last longer in the long run. if you have any questions in the future, ask us on the brickboard or go to your local reliable volvo service shop and chat with them. if you don't know something, allways ask. that's the best policy i can give.
