73 144 Injectors 140-160

I recently got a 73 144 with D-jet. All the fuel lines are hard and the car has not been driven since 86, so I have been replacing fuel lines and cleaning everything out. My question is about the fuel injectors. The lines running to the injectors are also hard and in need of replacment, but where the line connects to the injector it has a crimp. Has anyone ever delt with this before? Can I cut off the crimp and use a hose clamp with the new fuel line? Any answers or comments greatly appreciated.

Thanks Eric
