I took another look at it last night. The tensioner bolt is OK, the belt is still snug, and the pump is still turning without any appearant belt slippage. But if I tug at it hard, I can rock the pump slightly. With the belly pan in place, I can't see up at the bottom side, but my guess is either that the pivot bolt or the bracket is broken. I'll check it out on my day off when I've got time to chase parts and put it all back together in the same day.

BTW - does anyone care to guess at how much fluid it might take to flush the P/S system?
