Sticking Glove Box door 900 1994

The door seems to get stuck to the frame. I turn the latch without a problem and then have to pry open the door with all ten of my finger tips.

After I get the door open I can see that when I turn the latch, the part that is supposed to go down, does in fact withdraw all the way flush with the rest of the lock, so I don't think it is the lock.

I sprayed silicone grease around the edges of the box and door, and that seemed to work until the next time I tried to open it.

Has anyone else had this problem or is this a unique situation?
