rear hatch rust repair pt. 2 200 1986

alrighty, it was easy enough to remove the hatch window, took 5 minutes, no problems at all...now that i have that out i found that one of the lower corners is completely rusted out underneath where the seal was...is there really a good way to fix this corner and affectively stop water seeping in? most of the hole is more to the inside of the hatch, only a small opening on the outside.. has anyone done this kind of rust repair? i realllly dont want to have to track down a pristine white hatch here in Indiana and pay $250 for it... Thanks in advance!
